Leonardo da Vinci is a relatively stupid person from Planet Vinci, who visited Earth in the 15th and 16th century when he no longer could stand being mocked for his stupidity. On Earth he was considered a genius, but he eventually left when he couldn't stand being with so stupid people.
In 3010, he found his long lost invention thanks to the professor and Fry. The invention, a doomsday device, was used to attack his enemies on Planet Vinci, but Fry managed to stop it before killing too many.

Trivia
- He is the idol of Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth, or at least he was until them finally meeting in The Duh-Vinci Code.
- Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth claims to have had his beard (which was later destroyed by Fry), but da Vinci still bears it in The Duh-Vinci Code. It seems either the Professor was ripped off, or da Vinci has grown new beard since.
