Category of episodes written by Ken Keeler |
Ken Keeler is a writer for both the Simpsons and Futurama. He helped create Futurama and for the first three seasons was a co-executive producer and a executive producer for the fourth season. Ken also wrote songs for both shows including the song in the final episode. He happened to win a Writers Guild Award for the episode "Godfellas".
Keeler wrote both the finale of the original run, "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings", and the fourth and final of the movies, "Into the Wild Green Yonder", both of which were designed to be suiting if it would be the series' last episode. He also directed the upcoming "Futurama Reincarnation", which is so far set to be the final Futurama episode.
A character in the series, Ben Beeler, is based on Ken.
Keeler has a Ph D in Applied Mathematics, which has helped him write several of the nerdier jokes on the show (see 1729 for example).
